Customer Agreement with Agent | Refund Your Tax

I hereby confirm that:

1. I authorize TASC Outsourcing Ltd t/a as Refund Your Tax the authority to serve as my exclusive representative with the Revenue Commissioners for the current tax year, the preceding four tax years, and continuously until I provide termination notice via email or post.
2. I pledge to provide Refund Your Tax with complete disclosure of all relevant information regarding my income, taxes, assets, and personal situation that could affect my tax evaluation. I accept accountability for any inconsistencies in the information provided and agree to review each finalized tax statement issued by Revenue for errors and omissions.
3. These terms and conditions pertain to Refund Your Tax’s commission-based tax return service. We retain the right to retract our offer to complete your tax return on a commission basis or may propose offering the service at a fixed fee, such as in cases of outstanding returns, previously filed returns, or additional incomes or complex circumstances.
4. I acknowledge that Refund Your Tax’s commission-based tax return service is intended for individuals who are resident, ordinarily resident, and domiciled in the Republic of Ireland. If you are unsure of your residency or domicile status, this must be disclosed before the commencement of service.
5. While Refund Your Tax endeavors to maximize my eligible tax refund, the final determination of the refund amount rests with the Revenue Commissioners. I am aware that Revenue may request receipts and documents to substantiate claimed items subsequent to a refund claim being filed or completed.
6. I consent to an 8%+VAT commission rate on refunds received for each tax year a refund is warranted, unless alternative rates are agreed upon. However, no charge will be incurred if no refund is due.
7. In cases where the Customer consists of two individuals jointly assessed for tax purposes by the Taxing Authority, I understand that each individual is considered part of the Customer and is jointly and severally responsible for the Customer’s obligations under these Terms. Moreover, if the Customer is an individual, it includes their legal representative or successor. If the Customer comprises two jointly assessed individuals, each of them agrees that Refund Your Tax may enforce our rights under these Terms against each of them.
8. I consent to Refund Your Tax: (a) disclosing my confidential information to their employees, officers, representatives, subcontractors, or advisers who require such information to fulfill their obligations under the Contract; and (b) disclosing my confidential information to the Taxing Authority. If the Customer consists of two individuals, this right of disclosure applies to confidential information regarding each of us; and (c) disclosing our confidential information to third parties without our consent if required by any governmental, banking, taxation, supervisory, or similar body, or by stock exchange regulations, or if disclosure is requested in connection with administrative or other investigations.

Our Promise to You

We hold our service in high esteem and exercise utmost diligence and care in processing your refund application and safeguarding your personal information.

Specifically:

• Upon receiving your application form, we will promptly notify you via email and text message, confirming its receipt and outlining the subsequent steps. We will commence the registration process as your tax agent without delay. Revenue typically takes 3-5 working days to complete our registration.
• We will adhere to and uphold the provisions of the applicable data protection laws in retaining and safeguarding your personal information.
